"Sleepy Lagoon" by The Platters makes me cry every time I hear it. It reminds me of my Poppy, who passed away just before Christmas in 2010. My aunt, Lori made him a compilation CD and this was the first song on it. He had trouble remembering many things but knew every single word to this song and would sing along so beautifully whenever it was played. Once upon a time it would make me smile as it would remind me of him and I hope that in time it does that again, but for now it absolutely breaks my heart as it just reminds me how much I miss him.
